where you can read other bloggers’ posts!This time of year is always perfect for looking back on all that we’ve accomplished in the past year, and in years past, and then looking forward to the new year with big hopes and plans.For many of us, especially those of us who frequent home blogs, a lot of the little plans that we’re hatching right now have to do with our homes.
The way our homes look, function, and most of all how our homes feel on a daily basis.. We’re in the middle of a reno that I’ve really wanted to do for quite a few years right now in our kitchen and it’s really starting to make me feel like the pieces are all falling into place just a little bit more than I thought would be possible for this year.
It’s really got me thinking a lot about the things we’ve done so far in this house and just how different it really is in here compared to when we moved in.Honestly the bathroom had gotten so bad that we weren’t using it anymore.
I’ll save those pictures for the full before and after post at the end of this project!It was a wheelchair accessible bathroom, so there wasn’t much of a difference in slope between the shower and the regular floor.
Water had been splashing there for the last 30 years and we knew there was mold under there somewhere.. Well, as it always goes with these things, Chris pulled the flooring back and found that it was even worse than he’d thought.Isn’t that always the story?
